On December 7th and 8th of 2019, GLOW held their end of year Christmas celebrations with the women's groups. They spent time praying and worshiping, and their speaker (Pennina) shared here testimony and encouraged them to resist anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness. It was a very special time for the ladies. GLOW also provided a hot meal and a celebratory Christmas cake!

The cake was so special to them. They were also very thankful for the "name badges" or name tags! The ladies entertained each other with skits, songs, and dances. Most of the skits were about drunken husbands, domestic violence, or a mother struggling to keep the home, raise kids, and taking care of the family. There was a lot of joy, though. Even when the rain started, the singing and dancing did not stop!!

The ladies were so excited to receive individual small gifts and fabric from GLOW with which to make a Christmas dress! This will also double as a group uniform for the summer conference.

Five ladies from Buremba also received loans. What a great celebration with wonderful ladies!!
